Andrea is an advocate of a holistic approach to learning, nurturing all aspects of musical development at each student’s natural, healthy pace. Her teaching goes beyond academic knowledge and technical skill to foster creative music-making and a lifelong love of playing the piano. With over twenty-five years of teaching experience, Andrea consistently achieves excellent results in grade exams and auditions. She enjoys sharing her passion for piano through Piano Maestros tuition and events.

Alongside her teaching, Andrea has a busy performance career. She works as a solo and collaborative pianist, church organist, and sound practitioner, performing mainly in London and the South East. She has been an accompanist at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and Junior Trinity College of Music in Greenwich. Andrea regularly plays for the Take Note Choir in Blackheath and serves as resident organist at St James Church, Kidbrooke, as well as resident pianist at the Clarendon Hotel, Blackheath.

Originally from Slovakia, Andrea trained at the National Music Conservatoire in Košice and the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, continuing her studies at Trinity College of Music, Greenwich. She also holds a Professional Diploma in Group Sound Arts Therapy from the British Academy of Sound Therapy and is exploring further work in therapeutic piano lessons and meditative sound events.
