Welcome to Piano Maestros

We are a team of dedicated piano teachers, aspiring to nurture, inspire and educate new talent. We teach one-to-one piano lessons to students from the age of four to adults, welcoming players of all abilities and aspirations.

Piano playing always brings people together, and we are committed to keeping this tradition alive. We want to pass the artistry and joy of playing the piano on to a new generation and share it with our community.

COVID-19 UPDATE
Due to the current situation and the ongoing spread of the coronavirus, we have moved our lessons online. All lessons are given via Skype, Zoom, WhatsApp or FaceTime video call, whichever suits you best.

We are committed to continuing on our mission to motivate and support our pupils. Now more than ever, we must keep aspiring to be Piano Maestros, as we have the time for practising and improving our skills. Engaging in a creative activity is essential to our wellbeing and in fact, therapeutic.

What our students say

“I highly recommend online piano lessons with Piano Maestros. As a parent, I think it’s important that my son keeps motivated and engaged in playing. We are using WhatsApp video call and it works great.

It’s wonderful that students can continue with their lessons while self-isolating. No swimming, no playing at the playground etc.. oh dear! At least, piano lessons still go on. Fabulous. We have a great tutor too.”

Sandrine Mcmorris, parent

“I am an adult learner, who started to learn piano in my late 50s. Being older seems to mean that I am both, slower to learn…. and faster to forget. I need my regular lessons and practice.

These lessons are keeping me on track and make me prepare and work on pieces the same as I did for in-person lessons. My online lessons are, and will continue to be, a highlight of my week.”

Maria, student

“In many ways, online teaching is more efficient than the traditional way. It has improved Dylan’s knowledge of music theory and score reading. Participating in a lesson from home on his own piano, he also feels more relaxed and confident during the lesson.”

Queena Liu, parent

“I was quite apprehensive about lessons going on-line as I don’t generally use this technology. However, although a bit strange at first I was surprised at how well it can work and the lesson was followed up with clear notes from the teacher. We are keeping our own notes of progress ready for our next lesson and will try to use the biggest screen we have this time.”
